Who can join SWE at CSUS?
Our members can be FEMALE OR MALE college students pursuing a degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a field related to engineering and not employed full time in an engineering position.
What do I need to do to join SWE?
Sac State students must complete three steps to join our group and be recognized as an active member:
- Visit http://societyofwomenengineers.swe.org/membership/benefits-a-discounts to purchase membership. Collegiate membership is $20 annually. If students plan to participate in SWE for several years, we recommend purchasing the $50 College to Career (C2C) membership that will fund all college years and one year of professional membership. Be sure to select CSU Sacramento as the affiliated section.
- Visit https://orgsync.com/2571/chapter to join us on Org Sync so that Sac State can officially recognize your membership!
- Attend, and sign in to, two General Meetings, and two Social or Professional Events.
- Sign up for our email list by filling out the form in the 'Contact Us' page of our website: in the comments field, type "NEW MEMBER EMAIL".
Note: For students participating in the MESA/MEP program, active membership will be based on the lists we receive from swe.org of students who have purchased a membership, along with attendance of two General Meetings and two Social or Professional Events. To receive a signature for your MEP report card, schedule an appointment by emailing swe.sacstate@gmail.com with "SWE President Mtg Request - MEP Report Card" as your subject line.

Welcome!
